Book Report API

Authors' business data,
organized and ready for your app.

Book Report brings together sales, earnings, advertising and catalog data, matches editions across services, and makes it available through one documented REST API. Authors connect securely through OAuth.

Leave the provider integrations to us.

Your app doesn't need to work with undocumented APIs, handle publishing logins or cookies, or keep up with changes across a dozen services. Book Report manages those connections and brings their data into one reporting system, refined for authors since 2015.

Organized data, ready for your app.

Get sales, earnings, page reads and ad spend alongside a detailed book catalog. Book Report matches editions across services and gathers series, formats and languages automatically.

Query by book, series, store or date, with currency conversion built in. The API also supports catalog changes when an author grants management access.

Test accounts are available for evaluating the API without data of your own.

Earnings and ad spend by series for the last 30 days, in USD. Send this request with the author's OAuth access token.

OAuth, with onboarding built in.

Authors can connect even if they've never used Book Report. We guide them through sign-in, setup and importing their data, then return them to your app after they approve access.

Authors choose the access they give your app and can revoke it at any time.

Authors keep their data current through Book Report's guided update page. Your app can check when each connected account was last updated.

Book Report's permission screen lets an author grant view-only or management access to an app.

Let's talk about your app.
