Getting Started
This page will guide you through every step you need to take to get up and running with Book Report.
Step 1: Launch Book Report and sign in
Visit app.getbookreport.com, click Login with Amazon, and sign in with the same Amazon account you use for KDP. Once you've signed in, you'll be redirected back to Book Report.
This process does not give us access to your Amazon password - we never ask for any of your passwords.
Step 2: Install the browser extension
Book Report will ask you to install its browser extension if it isn't already running. You can use the link shown in Book Report, or one of the links below:
- Install from Chrome Web Store. Use this link if you are using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Opera.
- Install from Firefox Add-On Marketplace. Use this link if you are using Firefox.
- Install Book Report for Safari.
After installing or enabling the extension, return to Book Report and click Reload Book Report.
Step 3: Connect your accounts
On Connect your accounts, check the accounts listed under Connected. You can also connect other publishing accounts, direct sales through BookFunnel, or advertising accounts. Follow any prompts to sign in, grant access, or confirm an account.
Click Done connecting accounts to start importing. You can connect more accounts later from the Settings tab.
Step 4: Import your data
Your first import can take several minutes. Keep Book Report open until it finishes; you can work in another browser tab. Follow any sign-in prompts if an account needs attention.
When you see Your data is ready, click Open Book Report to explore your data.
That's it!
After setup, the update status appears beside the tabs in the header. It shows "Updating..." while imports are running and "Up to date" when they finish. If it asks you to sign in, click it to reconnect the account that needs attention.
Use the tabs to move between reports, books, and settings. On smaller screens, open the menu at the right of the header to find tabs or update controls that do not fit.
