August Product Update

Draft2Digital sales can now appear throughout the month, Book Report’s API is ready for integrations and automations, and two major features have graduated from beta.

  • Daily Draft2Digital: Draft2Digital data is now available on the Today tab. You no longer need to wait until the end of the month to see your D2D data in Book Report. Data will update throughout the month, reflecting what you can find on D2D’s chart interface. This update also imports free-unit counts from some D2D channels that Book Report couldn’t detect previously.

  • API Access: Book Report now has an API, letting you integrate your data with other services, automations, and personal software. We’ve published a full OpenAPI specification, which makes building integrations fast and easy. Learn more.

  • Amazon Ads and AI Tool Connections: Beta testers loved both of these features, and they have now launched out of beta. You can track your Amazon Ads with Book Report and connect Book Report to AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.

Want to help build what’s next?

  • Facebook Ads: We’re looking for help building this integration. You can now connect your Facebook Ads account from the Settings tab. This gives Book Report permission to access the ad data needed to build and test the feature, but the data will not appear in your reports yet.

  • Partner Program: Do you help indie authors run their businesses? We’re starting a small partner program for accountants, marketers, coaches, educators, and others on the business side of independent publishing. We’ll take the time to understand how you work, where Book Report can help you serve authors better, and what we could build to make it even more useful.
