Book Report is now much faster. We've developed a purpose-built, high-efficiency storage format and a state-of-the-art processing pipeline that delivers reports with exceptional speed.

This upgrade is particularly noticeable for large reports - the kind where maybe before you’d get up and grab a cup of coffee while it loaded. Now almost all reports will load within a second or so, and even the highest-earners on Book Report will be able to load their all-time data within a few seconds.

How Fast?​

We ran thousands of reports using both the old and new systems to confirm the performance improvements.

  • The new engine was faster 100% of the time.
  • On average, reports generated 3.6× faster.
  • Six-figure reports generated 13.4× faster.
  • The slowest 1% of reports ran 21.1× faster.

There was one high-six-figure report in our test that took 1 minute and 42 seconds under the old system - that same report took only 5 seconds under the new one.

A Solid Foundation​

Features are only as good as the foundation they’re built on. This update contains no new features; it’s about building a solid foundation for features down the road. With this performance improvement, we can build reports that rely on all-time data, without worrying about them taking minutes to load.

Author Nation 2025​
